Chris Wolfe is a Physical Therapist and Board Certified Orthopedic Specialist with over 11 years of clinical experience. He graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Biology from Freed-Hardeman University in 2004 and went on to complete his Masters in Physical Therapy at the Medical College of Georgia in December of 2006. Chris relocated to Nashville in 2007 and has spent his career specializing in outpatient orthopedics and sports medicine.
Chris has managed several outpatient physical therapy facilities, along with training and mentoring clinicians and physical therapy students. He currently owns and runs his private practice in order to provide a niche clinical environment and customized treatment options in a one-on-one setting. He also serves as a guest lecturer and an adjunct professor in the Physical Therapy Department at Belmont University where he teaches in orthopedics and assists with clinical research projects.
Clinically, Chris has advanced training in manual therapy and is a McKenzie Certified Therapist specializing in evaluation and treatment of spinal and extremity disorders. He uses Selective Functional Movement Assessments (SFMA) and new wearable dorsaVi technology to provide the highest level of functional and clinical assessments to direct his skilled treatment options.
Chris has also pursued advanced training in treating the running athlete and multi-sport triathlete and utilizes video analysis and dorsaVi technology to aide in treatment of overuse and traumatic injuries. He shares the same passion as many of his patients and clients in pursuing triathlon and endurance running endeavors and uses his personal experience and clinical knowledge to provide both treatment and performance training.
He is a Boston Qualifier and an Ironman finisher and looks to continue with his endurance training and racing while assisting others to do the same as well. Chris lives in the heart of Nashville with his wife and two daughters and loves serving his community.

"I came to Chris with an acute overuse injury in my shoulder due to swimming. Under his guidance, not only in our PT sessions but also his suggestions for mitigation while in the pool and other forms of exercise, I was able to return to preferred speed and wellness over a handful of weeks.
To think how badly wrecked my shoulder was at the start to the strength I gained through the process, this seemed almost impossible when I first started working with Chris."
"Chris goes above and beyond to help his patients get to their healthiest condition. I cannot put into words how much going to him has affected me.
Not only has he helped me on the road to recovery from multiple injuries, but going to him has also helped me prevent future injuries as well. I cannot recommend going to him enough!"
"A few years ago I began having knee pain. I saw a few different physical therapists but no one seemed to know how to treat my injury correctly (despite the fact that it is a common and straightforward injury).
I finally found Chris Wolfe and started making progress after only a few months in treatment. Chris is thoughtful, methodical, and caring. I've recommended him to many of my friends!"
“I’ve had back problems for the last twenty years. Without Chris, I know I’d still be in pain and not be able to train like I want to. In a world when many athletes are faced with surgery to fix their problems, Chris finds a safe and long-term solution, without having them go under the knife. Truly life changing!”
I have been actively seeking treatment from Chris for approximately two years now. I was suffering from a long term, debilitating back injury when I first met Chris. I had previously met with numerous physical therapists and doctors that were unable to successfully treat and walk with me through this issue. Chris was able to use his knowledge and expertise to patiently guide me to a successful recovery. I am forever grateful for his desire to help and his willingness to do so.
As a runner with a 32 year career, I have had my fair share of injuries. Chris has consistently given me the confidence to return to my level of activity as well as complete knowledge of healing and prevention. Every time, I leave stronger than when I came!
