Jacob Travis is a residency-trained physical therapist specializing in the field of orthopedics. He completed his Orthopedic Residency at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore after receiving his Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Emory University in Atlanta. Now, he’s very excited to use all of his training to serve his hometown of Nashville!

During the residency, Jacob was rigorously trained in the evaluation, diagnosis, and evidence-based treatment of all musculoskeletal conditions. Heavy focus on advanced manual therapy skills was another hallmark of his training. Because of this unique background, Jacob can be considered a generalist who is confident in treating any condition with a hands-on approach.

He is dedicated to staying up-to-date on the latest research as he is constantly evolving his practice to continue providing the best possible care to his patients. He is always looking to learn something new so don’t be surprised if he asks you questions about your rehab journey!

Jacob is Tennessee through and through; born and raised in a small town outside of Nashville, a Tennessee Vol alum, and a huge fan of the Titans, Preds, Grizzlies, and Nashville Soccer Club! He enjoys staying active outside of the clinic in the gym and on the wrestling mat. He is a former wrestler who has stayed involved with the world of fitness and combat sports and hopes to serve those athletes in the future.
